Retired in September 2022 from Water Utilities (Botswana) as Chief Operations officer Mathew's has been accountable for water supply and wastewater management across Botswana,  through support and supervision of ten (10) regions named Business Centres. His key focus has been adequate and quality water supply and wastewater management within the local and international standards. Ensuring compliance to effluent management has been a passion with 36 years of experience beginning in 1986 having operated in various Municipalities in Botswana as a technician and experienced growth, both academically and in ranks. Mathees currently hold a Master of Science Degree in Water Resources Management from University of Birmingham
